School Services
Helping schools make the grade, from administrative offices to the classroom.
Teri Schwartz not only began her career as a teacher in Boulder, Colorado, she also spent 25 years working in the private sector specializing in leadership, culture change, team building and executive coaching. Combining her two passions, she has years of experience working with students, teachers, and administrators to create more highly successful education environments.
Most recently, Teri designed a process for a Denver Public Schools to bring together a divided community and student body. Critical stakeholders come together over a long weekend to establish a common ground foundation for the future. Students, parents, faculty, staff and other stakeholders engage in inclusive dialogue to share perspectives and experiences of the past, take ownership for the present situation, create their vision for the future and form self-managed action teams to realize common ground goals.
Schwartz + Associates’ additional educational work includes:
Tomorrow’s Leaders – a leadership program designed and facilitated by Teri for students from 9th through 12th grades. The program engages teens in hands-on experiences that reveal their unique leadership skills, enhance individual self-awareness, sense of self-worth, personal responsibility, compassion, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Tomorrow’s Leaders offers a safe learning environment where teens can be vulnerable, practice skills, and take risks.
